Hi-Tech Sailing was founded in June 2023 by Steve Kennedy, a Physical Educator with over 20 years of experience in education and coaching and 30+ years of sailing experience. Steve grew up sailing in windy Albany, Western Australia. There, he fell in love with the sport and had success in the competitive Mirror fleet, winning multiple Club and State Championships, consistent podiums in National Championships, and achieving 4th place in the 1999 World Championships with crew Simon Grannery in their boat named Hi-Tech.

Course fees are $481.50, Inclusive of course fees & equipment + 7% GST. You can bring Sun block lotion, Sunglasses, and retention strap, Rubber-soled shoes (covered), or sailing booties – (no sandals), Rashguard or T-shirt & swim long tights or pants (for on-water sessions), a Cap, A pair of sailing gloves, Water bottle, Towel, A set of extra clothing, Snack (e.g banana, energy bar &, etc), Daily lunch (1-hour break), and Writing materials (notebook & pen).
